FIFA - Futsal laws of the game.
Document Teams & Age Groupings Minimum number - 5 Teams can be mixed - girls and boys. Students may play up in the older division but may not play down in the younger division Students must not play on more than 1 team Game Duration 2 x 8 minute halves with a 1 minute change over Ball out of play When the ball has wholly crossed the goal line or touchline. Restart: will be a kick-in at the place the ball went out. Opposition must be at least 5 meters away. This is an indirect kick so a goal cannot be scored until another player has touched the ball Timeout No time outs will be used Ball Size 4 ball for both divisions Equipment ALL Players must wear shinguards. Substitution Limit: None Substitution Method: "Flying substitution" all players but the goalkeeper enter and leave as they please; goalkeeper substitutions can only be made when the ball is out of play and with a referee's consent Free Kick Direct free kick (when foul occurred inside penalty area) is taken from the 2nd penalty spot. 10m mark. Indirect free kick (when foul occurred inside penalty area) is taken from the 1st penalty spot. 6m mark. Goal Clearance Must be made from inside the penalty area, the goalkeeper throws, not kicked or punted, the ball into play. The ball cannot be thrown over the halfway line unless another player touches the ball Junior division - On a goal clearance the opposition team must be no closer that the top of the center circle until the ball has been thrown. Offside No offside Ties in games All games must have a winner. In the event of a tie there will be 2 penalty kicks. Then sudden death 1 kick Penalties are taken from the top of the circle Ties during finals In games during the elimination round games that end in a tie will be decided by 3 penalty kicks. In the championship game. 5 mins extra time, golden goal. If still no goal has been kicked after 5 mins then the result will be decided by penalty kicks. |
